ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER – THRIFT

We are not your average, everyday retail thrift store, offering a 40-hour work week, Monday thru Saturday, enabling you more time to spend with your family, while providing a competitive salary and benefit package. Our Assistant Store Manager is an Hourly position.
Our Assistant Manager will…
help manage all Thrift Store operations which directly impact profitability and funding, including marketing, merchandising, donations, employee scheduling and supervision.
Candidate qualifications consist of some of the following and more…
*Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others
*Operating cash register, merchandising and selling items
*Organizing display of merchandise
*Monitor and maintain consistent pricing standards
*Complete basic accounting and cash handling procedures
*Oversee operation of store in absence of Store Manager
*Greet customers, responding to their inquiries and/or complaints.
*Supervise the rotation of inventory on sales floor.
*Track and report donations produced daily.
*Monitor and maintain consistent pricing standards.
*One year supervisory experience preferred.
There are some physical demands too…
-Able to lift minimum of 50 pounds on a repeated basis
-Assemble and move racks and carry items up & down stairs, if applicable
-Must be able to stand for a long period of time
