We are not your average, everyday retail thrift store, offering a 45-hour work week, Monday thru Saturday, enabling you more time to spend with your family, while providing a competitive salary and benefit package. Our Store Manager is a Salary position.
Our Store Manager is…
responsible for leading and managing a retail thrift store ensuring all operations are consistent with Teen Challenge Best Practices and Policies.
Candidate qualifications consist of some of the following and more…
*Knowledge of retail operations a must!
*Track record of proven leadership!
*Strong communication skills!
*Basic Microsoft Office skills!
*Basic accounting and cash handling procedures necessary!
*Greet your customers and respond to their inquiries and/or complaints.
*Monitor store inventory!
*Motivate, direct, and mentor your team!
*Coordinate pricing, merchandising and sale of product.
*Create a shopping experience for your customers in developing eye-catching store displays.
*Create and implement strategies to grow donations.
*Flexibility in wearing various hats as the need arises!
There are some physical demands too…
-Able to lift minimum of 50 pounds regularly and carry product up & down stairs, if applicable.
-Assemble and move racks and shelves.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time
